Think you can't wear sexy nude lipsticks like Kim Kardashin? I will show you how.

Image: Kim Kardashian (© Michael Tran/FilmMagic) Some people think they can't wear nude lipsticks maybe because your lips are too dark or you feel the lipstick makes your lips look too big.  But I beg to differ. This lipstick will make your lips look sexier!  Here's what you have to do, first start off with clean lips free of glossies, etc.  Then as you put foundation on your face, put some on your lips.  This will lighten your lips, or kind of neutralize them.  Now outline your lips with a neutral color liner close to your skin tone.  I tend to think nudes a little more on the tan side as opposed to the pink side looks best on me and most brown skinned to dark skinned people. But try pink if you like – it may just work for you. Pink is really hot now-especially that Barbie pink (MAC Pink Nouveau) Apply your nude lipstick. With a lip brush, blend your lip liner with your lipstick so you don't see a hard line around your lips.  Now just add a little gloss-emphasis on little you don’t want it supper glossy. Viola - You have the sexy nude lip!

Iman Foundation

I'm a little afraid to post this because some of the items that I've blogged about aren't in stock when I need them You guys are buying them all up. But that's a good thing. I share my knowledge to help out so obviously I’m helping by spreading the word on good products. If you have specific makeup questions feel free to ask me – Keisha[at]keishawillisbeauty[dot]com and I'll help. This blog is about IMAN foundation. I’m sure you all have heard of the beautiful super model Iman from Ethiopia who happens to be married to the legendary David Bowie – can you tell I’m a fan of her’s :-)

I am extremely leery of drug store foundation. Foundation is so vitally important to the finished look your makeup gives. IMAN cream to powder and foundation stick delivers AMAZING results. The color match is perfect – my color is Clay 3. These foundations are specifically made for women of color - such as Spanish, Asian woman not just for Black woman. Since women of color come in such a vast diversity of hues it’s great to have such an incredible product that delivers these results. I'm tossing all my MAC foundation for IMAN. Oh yeah it's that serious. And for only $14.99 it's a STEAL. Try it, I promise you'll love it. Plus it provides an instruction leaflet on how to apply the foundation - I've never seen that. You can this foundation anywhere – I’ve seen it in Target, Walgreens everywhere

I give this product thumbs up and a gold star!

NARS blush – Orgasm

NARS blush – Orgasm
So I was first introduced to this blush a few years ago on a video shoot. More than once when I’m on a shoot the photog will say “Hey we need more people and throw me in the video or picture”. I keep reminding them I don’t model anymore. Anyway, as I’m getting ready for my appearance in this video the stylist hands me this blush – NARS – Orgasm (they have another blush I love on women of color it’s orange). And I love this stuff. I am a BIG highlighter. I’ll tell you about my AMAZING highlighter I use from Smashbox soon. I think high lighting takes your makeup to a whole other level. Orgasm is kind of like a high lighting blush. Remember with any blush start with a little and build it. It’s easier to put on more than take it off.

My rating: Two thumbs up!!

Wet and Wild (or Crazy) gel eye liner

Here's another product review.. I'm glad you all are really enjoying these. I get lots of positive feedback. Well as long as you keep reading 'em, I'll keep posting
em. Also if there's a product you want me to check out just let me know.

So I'm shopping for a wedding that I am about to do. I need to get on the road so I just pull in to CVS to pick up some supplies, I always get my brides lots of goodies. Well I REALLY need some eyeline but I don't have time to stop by MAC and get their gel liner, which is what I usually use.-especially on my brides because it doesn't move. So I see the Wet and Wild (or Crazy) gel eye liner. I LOVE this stuff. It goes on smooth doesn't run and guess what? It's under $12 bucks.. I think it's like $7. I've used it in photo shoots and everything and it worked fabulously!

My rating is: Two thumbs up

L’Oreal Lash Extender Mascara

L’Oreal Lash Extender Mascara (black bottle gold top)
There is this girl I know that has these A-M-A-Z-I-N-G lashes and they are her's! Her lashes are like Kim Karadashin. So I asked her what did she use and she told me L’Oreal Lash Extenders. I tried it because I have little baby lashes, and I LOVE this stuff. Also it doesn't make a mess like other mascara's. So you know how you always hear how Mascara ABC does these amazing things to your lashes but the model has on fake lashes (bad ones at that - they need to come to me to get their lashes done), This mascara actually delivers!

My rating is: Two thumbs up and gold star

Sephoria's silicone primer

I am often asked what products I use, when I do makeup and of course everyone answers their own questions with MAC. My answer is always I'm not married to any one product I use things from the drug store to Dior and Chanel. So I figured I'd put my reviews of certain products up on my site so you can try them and see if you like them. I warn you I have a story with every product.

Sephoria's silicone primer
OK so I'm in the Sephoria store selecting all of my goodies of course after I spent ample time playing in all the makeup my little heart desired. My purpose in going was to get a Smash box silicone primer. Well I picked up a little tester and the lady said $16--who, what!! Oh no not for this little tube. She gave me a sample of the Sephoria silicon primer and it is great and half the price.

So this product gets a rating of two thumbs up!!

Product Review - Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse

I am often asked what products I use when I do makeup for clients. So I thought I would blog about my take on the product on the market.

Maybelline’s Dream Matte Mousse
So I was first introduced to this product when I was doing a fashion show. One of the other artist's model brought it and asked her to use it. From where I was standing it gave a flawless finish. When I got closer it wasn't perfect but hey who's gonna be all up in your face. So I bought and used it. I really liked the coverage it provided, very smooth and easy to apply. I loved it. I did wonder how it would photograph beings that I mainly do photo shoots. Well halfway through the day the makeup started to separate, it didn't look so great by the end of the day.

So my rating for this product is thumb up and thumb down - Started strong but fell flat.
